Sequanota's Happy Camper Fun Run
Join us for the 3rd Annual Happy Camper Fun Run! This benefit 5K is an annual fundraising event for Sequanota camper scholarships. This year, we are excited to combine this event with the Love Your Mother Earth Retreat. On April 22nd, 2023, lace up your running (or walking!) shoes to take part in the Happy Camper Fun Run. All ages and abilities are invited to participate. You can sign up for the 5K or the one mile trail run/walk/hike.
You are invited to come to Camp Sequanota to race on-site, or participate by running wherever you live! Please see below for the on-site schedule of events, which will include Earth Day activities and a worship service on Sunday.
How to Participate - Onsite Event
1. Register to race!
Choose either the on-site 5K or one mile distance when you register. All ages are invited to participate! You can also join or create a team when you register.
Register before April 1st to guarantee a race t-shirt!
2. Set a fundraising goal!
When you register yourself, a fundraising page will automatically be created for you. You can share your link and recruit sponsors to help meet your fundraising goal! Friends and family can donate directly on your “participant” page here or send a check to Sequanota Lutheran Conference Center and Camp at PO Box 245, Jennerstown, PA 15547.
$600 subsidizes the cost of one week of camp for a camper!
$350 would pay a staff member’s salary for one week of work!
$100 is the cost for one participant at a weekend retreat!
$50 can provide meals for one camper for one week of camp!
Your registration fee will also go directly to supporting Sequanota's camper scholarship fund and helping you meet your goal.
The individual who raises the most money by 9:00 on Saturday, April 22nd will receive one week of camp to be used or gifted!
3. Race Day
We look forward to seeing you at camp on Saturday, April 22nd if you registered to join us in person! We will send out additional details via email ahead of the event.
